Characters

People who remember different worlds.

Each companion has a personal history, regional ties, combat role, and point of view on whether the fractured realms should ever become one again.

Aeris Vell
The Wanderer

Aeris Vell

Cartographer, routefinder, and the first person who believes the protagonist’s impossible memories.

Aeris was raised among Mistral’s moving roads. She does not trust maps that remain unchanged for too long. Her personal quest explores the disappearance of her expedition team and the possibility that some travelers are being shifted into alternate routes instead of dying.

Combat identity

Mobility, traps, route control, and environmental awareness.

The Sentinel

Kael Orin

A Valenridge officer torn between civic duty and evidence that the city’s official history is fabricated.

Kael begins as an investigator and potential antagonist. His arc can lead toward reform, exile, or total loyalty to the city depending on what the player reveals and conceals.

Combat identity

Guard breaks, counters, protection skills, and formation bonuses.

Kael Orin
Lyra Cael
The Oracle

Lyra Cael

Aether researcher who experiences future events as if they were memories she already lived.

Lyra is less interested in prophecy than causality. Her chapters focus on the cost of preventing events that may be necessary for a better future.

Combat identity

Aether manipulation, delayed effects, elemental conversion, and party amplification.

The Outcast

Darian Voss

Dredrock warlord who thinks reunification would destroy the independence created by the Fracture.

Darian’s loyalty depends on whether the player treats the canyon clans as partners or obstacles. His history is directly tied to the buried pre-Aether machine beneath Dredrock.

Combat identity

Heavy pressure, armor disruption, stagger chains, and battlefield intimidation.
